Welcome To Dr. SVK Foundation

In recent years India’s economy has made considerable progress. The media reports high growth rates, corporate success stories and increasing foreign investment. The good news tends to gloss over the fact that hundreds of millions of population in rural areas do not have a share in this admirable gains. The gains of development are distributed unevenly, the inequality is growing and poverty and hunger remain widespread.
The Dr. Svk Foundation promotes comprehensive rural development in a remote region of Tami Nadu ,Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka border in South India. The Trust serves about 57 villages with a total population of 85,000 From small beginning in 1998, the Trust’s activities have grown to encompass the wide variety of activities and services described in the subsequent pages.
